For the past 10+ years, my career journey has been a wild ride of shifts and growth. I've always been told to find a niche, and stick to that niche. The truth is that in account management, you have to understand it all....

I began my career in Public Relations, which at the time was a great deal of social media and influencer marketing. One of the PR agencies I was working for had a luxury client - Thermador. Thermador is where I fell in love with social media. I challenged the clients to see the power of social media and most importantly – to trust my vision to change their entire brand tone and voice on their social platforms. That trust was honored, and they still use this voice today.

This organically led me from the PR world, right into advertising/marketing where I'd go on to grow an account management team. It was here that I learned account management was is so much more than just client service. Account management is about seeking clarity, staying curious about your client's business, advocating for your client's business, communicating and really listening. It's leadership at its core. After building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, helping brands tell their stories through social media, influencer marketing and 360 campaigns, it was time to fulfill a lifetime’s dream.

That dream? To work for myself. To work with brands I was passionate about. To utilize all of those valuable learnings from the teams & clients who have become my foundation. Today, I get to wear all hats – I am an experienced account director, marketing consultant, leader, content marketer, influencer marketer and copywriter. All under my own name - Official Nicole Alex.
